The Fashion clocks were made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. and it has been said for 130 years now that the movements in the Fashion clocks are some of the finest ever made. It is a large heavy duty 8 day movement, striking hours on a large brass bell. The pendulum assembly, nickel rings, hands, Fashion glass, and the door lock, are all original to the clock. Apparently the upper dial was repainted, but matches exactly the original paint on the calendar pan. Complete black label inside the case. The 32" high walnut case has been rubbed/polished, and gives an excellent impression. All three finials are original and have factory type points. Overall this clock is an excellent example of the No. 4 Fashion. Ly-Calendar, page 286.
