A very large and heavy clock, 12" across the top and 12" across the back. It is now attached to a piece of nice wood for the purpose of displaying the clock with the many others in his collection. The etched metal silvered dial is 10" and signed, "Ashcroft", the company ST made the clock for. At the bottom of the dial is a serial number, "99003001". It has three correct hands, glass, and a key lock on the side, with the key. The cast brass case is polished, has solid cast hinges, and is as nice as we have seen, in fact it is near perfect. The movements are reported to be eleven jeweled escapement, compensating balance wheel, Breguet hairspring, and cut steel pinions, and warranted as accurate timekeepers. This clock is running.
