Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. "Regulator No. 21", ca 1910.

Cherry case is 48.5" tall, dark from age, retaining the original finish, has not been cleaned so you will see some crust or crazing. There are several pieces of very nicely carved parts and some good cabinet makers work, particularly on the dial board and above the door. The top and bottom of the case are different than most clocks we see, but the parts are all very nice. Everything is original, no repairs or new wood, only some small dents on the bottom of the painted dial. The dial is signed, and the seconds dial, three hands, and other parts are all original. The only thing I find not original is the pendulum stick. The brass bob, beat scale, brass pulley, and the large brass weight, all appear to be original to the case. The movement is 8 day, unsigned, time only with one weight, has retaining power, and dead beat escapement, and is running just fine. Ly-Gilbert No. 363.
