I have one almost identical to this one and came within an ace of having two. This clock is very nice excepting for a replaced weight and pendulum. The rosewood veneered case is very nice, and stands 40" high, and has a plain rosewood panel in the center. As with any large heavy clock you could probably find some edge chips if you looked hard enough. Excellent painted zinc dials are original, lettering is only slightly faded. Good hands, calendar rollers, and a near perfect black and gold label on the back of the door. Key lock on the side and a wood latch to hold the door. The movements are original and in good working order. Ly-Seth Thomas, pages 89-90; Ly-Calendar, pages 244-247.
