The calendar movement in this clock would fit in No. 86 if you should choose to make a switch. This is a copy of the Seth Thomas Office Calendar No. 5, and is near identical in all aspects to the original. The size of the clock and all the top and bottom ornaments are all the same as No. 86. The finish is not as slick as ST would have put on the clock, but with a little effort, polish and rubbing, it could be made to look considerably better. The weight is correct, the pendulum is damascened, both movements, dials, hands, etc. are the same as found on the original. Even the dials are signed like the originals. Like No. 86 above, this clock is very heavy and awkward to handle even with two people handling. References are the same. You can own a copy of a very rare ST clock for 1/10th the price of an original.
