Mahogany veneered case is a tad less than 20" high, veneer much better than average, but with the normal corner or bottom edge nicks. Original tablet has good paint, seems to be on the patriotic side, red, white, and blue. The top glass is also original. Brass door latch. Cone finial tips are slightly shorter than original. Very good original painted zinc dial, very little paint chipping or fading, and has period hands. The label inside is about 50 percent intact, with important parts, makers name etc. still intact. Old brass bob, coil gong mounted on a brass base, and brass fusee spools attached to the bottom of the unsigned brass movement.
