The statue is brass on a black marble base, and stands 37.5" high with the swing arm on the bar. The winged cherub has excellent casting detail, has a bow on his arm and the arrows by his side. The top ball is 6" with the time and striking movement inside. It winds in front in the French style. Brass accessories on the balls and the rods connecting the blue balls. The brass statue is polished, not dull list most cast brass objects. When we have tested the reproduction swingers we have found them to run up to 14 days or more. It this clock were an original swinger it would probably sell for several thousand dollars and the statues would be metal, not solid brass.
