English small short drop clock with a single fusee movement. It is only 13.5" high from stem to stern. Typical of the English clocks of this type the movement, bezel, dial, etc. are removable from the case box by pulling four wood pegs holding the two together. The box has side windows, the openings covered with cloth. Bottom door is hinged and latching allowing access to the pendulum. Good painted metal dial, original hands, hours in Roman, minutes in Arabic. It has a heavy duty 8 day, time only, cable fusee movement, and a correct pendulum. The movement seems very large for the small case but it is typical of the well made, heavy duty English movements.
