You can unscrew the lid revealing the 8 day clock/watch chronometer. The chronometer is held inside like any chronometer in a box. Winding and hand set stem on the top, original hands including the seconds hand, recessed circles each side of the dial. The one on the left says "8 Days", the one on the right says, "Fifteen / Jewels / Adjusted". The back also unscrews but I did not remove it. The clock was recently serviced and is running.
