Some of the company's description of this case was, "bronze top and base, raised gold ornaments, gold urn and body". The top and base are tarnished/discolored. I believe it will polish up nicely if you will spend some time. The "raised gold ornaments" look great, they are not discolored, same with the urn and feet. There are four perfect beveled glasses, a little grimy around the edges of the glass for I doubt they have ever been cleaned. Excellent imitation mercury pendulum and a correct two prong key. Perfect one piece porcelain dial is signed, and the hands are correct. 8 day round movement is also signed, clean and running, and striking half hours on a hanging gong. It could be a near perfect clock after some cleaning. We seldom see a ST crystal regulator this nice. Ly-Seth Thomas No. 719.
