This style case would originally had something on top, either finials (there are two small holes) or a head piece which is more likely. It looks good as it is, long and sleek. It has three glasses, wall levelers, bottom finial, door latch, -ae round thin columns on each side. The wood is almost ebony and may have been at some time, or just darkened intentionally. It has a perfect two piece porcelain dial, Vienna hands, brass pulley, brass pendulum bob, wood stick, and porcelain beat scale. The movement mounts to a brass bracket on the case back. Good sound clock and running.
