Oak case is 28" tall, very clean and looks to be in original condition. The tops on the Waterbury calendar clocks seem to always have repairs or new wood. I cannot say there have been repairs to the top of this clock, but if so, the work was so well done you cannot tell. There are two near perfect labels on the back of the case, two nice original dials, both are signed, and an original door glass. The hands, gong, roller papers, and other case parts all look to be correct. A pendulum and key are included. The 8 day movement is running and striking a large gong on the half hours and hours. If I could say positively that the top was original this minimum would be about doubled. Ly-Waterbury No. 238.
