The clock is 13" high, the wood base and glass dome together are 21" tall. The clock rests on a red felt covered wood base. The 8 day movement is well constructed and has a double chain fusee, with many gears to move the three separate dials. This clock is an identical copy of a French skeleton clock made in the 1800's. This clock is for those of us who cannot or will not pay thousands for an old one.
