15" tall, all the cast ornaments are intact but there are a few small pieces of brass inlay missing on the sides. Glasses are original, beveled glass in the beaded sash. Brass dial has small cartouche numerals and a pair of correct French hands. Wood back door is hinged and latches. Round solid plate brass movement is 8 day, signed by "Japy Freres", and strikes on a nickel bell. Original sun burst pendulum bob has the same serial number as the movement, "4426". The movement is running and striking half hours. This miniature clock impressed me more and more as I checked it out inside and out. It may be worth 2-3 times our minimum.
