This is a high grade Austrian Vienna regulator, made in a post 1900 art deco style case. The 29.5" high case is made of a native evergreen wood, probably pine. The wood looks so perfectly matched one almost thinks it is hand grained. Three good glasses, wall levelers, door hook adorn the outside. There is very little decoration to the top and base, although the dial surround is very stylish. The brass dial rings, brass weight, and brass pendulum bob are brightly polished. Two piece porcelain dial, typical Vienna hands, wood stick, brass pulley, correct winding crank, beat scale, are all very nice and correct for this clock.
