Metal base is finished with black enamel, the statue, clock tower, and ornaments, have a gold finish. It originally would have been finished in gilt or bronze. Overall in very good condition but is missing a small basket of flowers on the left edge of the base. The clock is 20" wide and 16" high. Excellent two piece signed porcelain dial, correct hands, open escapement, and beveled glass in the sash. It has the original metal back door, pendulum, and the 8 day movement that strikes half hours on a Cathedral gong. Ly-New Haven No. 502.
