At the bottom of the dial is signed, "Bourdon / Steamguage / Pat'd Mar.24.03". The brass bezel is held to the iron case with 3 screws. Steam valve connection at the bottom. Gauge is now mounted to a round block of mahogany for better display purposes. The Long Island collector had it displayed with his Seth Thomas Ships Clocks.
