Ingraham reproduced this poplar ca 1846 model clock because of its popularity with clock collectors. It has four columns and four sharp finials. There were only a few made and we had never seen one before. It is now over 70 years old, in near perfect condition, has a complete label inside, excellent glass, signed dial, and the correct pendulum bob. There is a large complete label on the back. The movement is 8 day, time and gong strike, and is running and striking properly. The mahogany veneered case is 19" high, has a couple of very tiny chips on the door edge, otherwise it is near perfect. A presentation plaque on the base is dated 1938. The original and identical models are shown in Ly-Ingraham, pages 58-59.
