E. N. Welch Clock Co. walnut parlor clock, with an always poplar glass featuring the Roman army and their variety of weapons scattered all around the glass.

The glass is excellent; there is no paint loss or fading. The large case is 23.5" high, complete, no breaks or repairs, no elaborate carvings, just some fine jig saw work. Grooved designs all over the case front. Parts of label on the back, very dark, pieces scattered around, I could not make heads or tails of it. Good original dial, hands, brass rings, brass bell, Cathedral gong, and one of Welch's outstanding brass pendulums, that is worth almost as much as our minimum. 8 day movement is running, striking, and running the alarm feature properly.
