Chauncey Jerome, printed on the original dial of this 15.5" high iron front case. The clock is named, "Lion Head", in Ehrhardt's Book Number One, page 11. The book says this is a one day, bronze clock. It is now a repainted bronze/gold, and may have originally had a bronze colored finish, but it is not bronze metal case. It may have a 30 hour movement inside, I cannot tell for the springs are an in between size. I did not run the clock to test whether 30 hour or 8 day, just know it runs. Pendulum, old hands, gong, good original dial, and the movement, are all original and good. There is a flat glass in both brass sashes.
