A very nice 8 day weight clock that needs a few little things to make it a keeper. The dial has been repainted and it looks great. The main thing you need to do to make the clock a keeper is have the two painted glasses restored. They are held with wood strips so it is easy to remove them. The gold columns are superb but have a couple of small flakes. It has a wonderful complete label, a pair of correct iron weights, brass bob, and hands. The original brass movement is 8 day, signed, and running. The mahogany veneered case is 32" high, very nice for the age of the case, but to make it perfect you could make a few small veneer repairs on the top and bottom edges. In really good condition this clock used to bring upwards of $1000 or more. Ly-Seth Thomas, pages 512-516.
