This is a very nice case, stands only 20" high, but has carved ornaments on top and the sides and has great style points. Always a problem it seems. I do not believe this glass is original, It is old but I guess it came out of another clock. The dial is original, very nice brass bob, bell, and dial rings. Movement is 8 day, running, striking the brass bell on the hours. The name, "Halcyon", in case you did not know is also a name for the, "Kingfisher", calmer of the seas. Complete label on the back, but is so dark I can hardly read it. Ly-Ingraham No. 918.
