That date is stamped on the back of the case. About 80 percent of the label is inside but is very dark and beat up, as usual. Very dark walnut case, never cleaned, has lots of smoke accumulated. The case is complete, all original, has no breaks or repairs, and has the original door hook on the side. Original glass, pendulum bob, gong, painted dial, hands, and dial rings. The dial is signed, it is dirty, and has a couple of tiny paint chips. The 8 day movement is running briskly. Ly-Seth Thomas No. 561.
