The case is made with a wood the company called "Dark Wood". It looks like walnut, but very dark. It is 22.5" high, complete, a dry split on the top, not a break. Ripple molding around the door and base, and a large number of deeply grooved or pressed designs over the case front. The signed dial is very dark, hands and rings are original, rings need to be cleaned and polished. Old glass, original pendulum, it also needs to be polished or cleaned. 8 day movement is original, springs are clamped, I did not test the movement. Strikes half hours on a Cathedral gong. Ly-Ansonia No. 1910.
