I am not sure of the age of this instrument. It is probably not terribly old, looks almost new, but it is a great looking banjo style barometer and the mahogany case is very large at almost 39" high. The various parts have a brass bezel, there is a flat glass over the barometer and thermometer. The thermometer is working properly, the barometer needs to be calibrated, and the moist/dry gauge at the bottom I am not sure if working. You calibrate the barometer hand by turning the screw in the back.
