Japanese short drop clock, ca 1900-1920. Complete 21.5" high case, the wood looks like pine stained, with black paint on the trim around the outside edge of the case. Glasses, brass bezel, latches, hands, and the dial, are all original. The dial has a small imprint of the worlds most perfectly shaped volcanic mountain, Mount Fujiyama, near Tokyo. The bottom glass has stenciled designs, all are original. Two labels on the back, one in Japanese. Good pendulum bob, 8 day movement, striking on a coil gong.
