Not exactly a museum quality clock. It has been restored, so that is a plus. It has a new frosted glass, new top glass, new dial paper, and possibly a new dial for the new paper is covering some holes in the pan that do not fit the "original, signed, 8 day movement". The 19" high mahogany veneered case is nice, maybe a corner nick or two, but overall, nice. It has a correct coil gong, old pendulum bob, old key, and the original door latch. The label is an enigma. Dark black paper but I cannot see a word. I could not stand it so I removed the gong base, black under it also. That means it has always been black paper, not a label. Not a bad clock, if it were nicer we would be talking around $200-300 plus. Ly-Gilbert, page 310.
