Ansonia Brass And Copper Co. mantle clock, "Cottage", ca 1874.

A near perfect little clock, everything original with exception of a clear bottom glass. It is original, but painting is gone. Original dial, hands, pendulum, and the one day time only movement. The paper label, inside on the backboard, is 100 percent present and intact. I am not sure if the 11" high wood case is a mahogany finish on pine, or is rosewood. It has been covered with a good finish in recent times, so is hard to tell. Ly-Ansonia, pages 432-433.
