The black paint is still pretty nice, very little paint loss. There are many dents or nicks on the edges, some gold remains in the etched designs on the front. The two columns are painted red resembling the adamantine seen on Seth Thomas clocks. Metal ornaments on the end, flat glass in the nice American sash, signed paper dial, correct hands, and brass inner dial. Paper label on the back is mostly intact, and like most of the earlier mantle clocks you access the pendulum thru the bottom and not a back door. The 8 day movement strikes a Cathedral Gong. Ly-Ingraham No. 667.
