Wood case, iron weights. Wood blocks on top move back and forth releasing power from the escape wheel. It is running, not exceptionally old, I would guess less than 50 years old. The case is stamped on the back, "Manufacturer Of / Baumann A.G. / Diepoldsau Swiss". It has one wooden hand. I seem to recall that is all it was supposed to have. The darn thing runs. Keeping good time, I doubt. The weights hang 3 to 6 feet below the clock, hence two pictures.
