For you city folks, sheaf means bundles of grain tied in the center for easy loading on the wagon. The ormolu gold plated case is very nice, has a sufficient amount of gold remaining. The case is 7.5" tall, signed dial with seconds, flat glass in the sash, and an easel stand in back. Backwind and set one day movement is running. Ly-New Haven No. 1754.
