Needs restoration, tired original finish with signs of regluing. Old reverse-paint bottom tablet has minor losses, throat glass is clear and loose (held in with masking tape) in hinged throat door. Top glass is old and wavy, but more recently installed. Old Jasper Stone dealer label inside base. Very nice painted-metal dial, 1899 penciled repair note on back. Correct old movement needs service, lacks weight. Ht.29".
