Dickie, Paisley, Scottish tall case clock, 8 day time and strike weight driven movement in mahogany veneer broken arch case with arched brass dial and seaweed spandrels, displaying date dial at 6 o'clock and second's bit at 12 o'clock and signed W. Dickie Paisley on disc in arch, c1800 the case has an old refinish with veneer repairs on both the hood and the base, portions of the top crest and the feet are both replacements. The dial is in good condition with no oxidation, however polished to brass - chapter needs silvering. The seconds and calendar hands may be replacements. Height 86 inches
