The bell ringers do not actually strike the bell as the movement strikes a wire gong to indicate the hours (it is a deep tone gong that sounds similar to a large bell), C. 1900 Cast metal case in very fine condition with a small scratch in the front just below the dial. Original porcelain dial is perfect and hands are original. Square plate movement is signed. H 17"
