original finish rubbed and cleaned. The zinc dial is correctly redone. The matched pair of glass tablets are finely repainted, and are excellent See page 228 in Kenneth Roberts "Connecticut Clock Technology 1810 - 1862" for similar example. Boardman supplied upper movements to Birge and Fuller. Note label is still full, but has faded; it is legible. Height 22 inches
