overall this is a nice clock, and except for being refinished and a new tablet, is still quite exceptional. The dial and hands are original and with a pretty good signature still showing on the dial. A machine screw retainer has been added to the fusee assembly to help hold it in place. See photo of rear of clock and also the movement. An example of this model can be found in Palmer's "Book of American Clocks", fig 260, and also in Distin and Bishop, page 124. Mov't properly signed. Height 24.7 inches
