BOSTON 59 6" and stamped with serial number and date in walnut case, c1979 serial #3 (note this is the small, 6" dial model that went into production after the 59-8). this clock is a single owner piece in excellent all original condition. There was a limited run of this small model. Movement and case are stamped with the serial number 3 and date of 9/79 with original sales receipt and paperwork, including final inspection certificate, signed by Blackwell and attached inside the case behind dial. The only thing that keeps this from being outstanding is some minor surface rust on the assembly screws for the movement...easily dealt with. Both this clock and the #10 are from the collection of Charles A. Boy, Jr. Height 36 inches
