this clock is in excellent original condition. The case is marked "26" "MCIP" "71". This example is numbered 6 and was made while Elmer was in prison (marked MCIP for Massachusetts Correctional Institute Plymouth). The weight is signed Stennes. The last example we sold in April of 2002 brought $3800. Please see adjoining photograph of Elmer Stennes taken in the early 1970's. Height 39 inches
