The impressive case with ormolu caryatids to the corners surmounted by a large pineapple finial, surrounded by 4 flame finials. The finely engraved dial plate is gilded and with subsidiary dials for chime-silent, F/S and tune selection. there are minor nicks to the case, commensurate with the age of the clock. Lacquer on the silvered chapter ring has discolored in the 3--6 quadrant. Clock is overall excellent to outstanding original condition. Note gong assembly will be removed to facilitate shipping.
