gilt and mahogany case in nice condition with the gilding now covered by an old layer of gold paint. Original bottom tablet is cracked. Throat glass appears to be a later restoration. Original convex dial attached to the case with three L turns has some paint loss at the mounting pins and a couple of other places on the edge. The dial will need some restoration as the numbers have been poorly touched up. Hands are original. Brass movement is anchored to the case with a single screw through the back plate Pendulum keystone with the cutout in the lower corner is the type used by Curtis. Door is locked with the winding key. Ht 41"
