there are some small wood losses on the large round turned bezel; there are places where the finish is rubbed through to the veneer. The dial pan has been cut out at the center to show the movement (this was not done at the factory), and has been repainted with the name "Joseph Ives" who invented the movement type, but had nothing to do with making this clock. There is also a thin wooden shim [see photo] under the entire movement, to move it forward slightly. Movement complete and ticks. Hands are possible replacements. Ht 27.5" Dial diameter 18"
