the case is made of solid walnut and mahogany, rather than veneered soft wood as the originals. The time and strike movement is not of Welch origin as it should be, and the calendar mechanism is a new copy from a style 3, with a varied design vertical plate having rounded cheeks and years 1--4 of the leap cycle. Dial is a computer generated copy on paper, over galvanized sheeting. Ht 30.25"
