Two black marble 8 day time and strike mantel clocks, late 19th century.

larger is French with a good double sunk white porcelain dial with visible jeweled pallets, case is slate with marble inlay and has reglued top section and some small chips, round "BN" anchor trademark movement, 14" tall. Smaller Ansonia has steel pallet visible escapement, brass dial has porcelain cartouche numbers, round movement with rack and snail strike, case has some losses on base and corner, 10.5" high. Both had good beveled glass. Very heavy and fragile lot, keep in mind if shipping. Both movements need service.
