mahogany case made up of pieces glued together and cut to the form of the case. The painted sheet steel dial with tabs was fitted to the case. This timepiece does not appear to be of the quality to have been retailed by J. E. Caldwell and Co., Philadelphia and may have been made from the remains of another clock. Ht. 42"
