we sold the same unusual model (but different serial number so not the same example) back in our April 2001 sale, claiming that this ornate, heavy and fragile case probably would have made by a New York art design firm which then installed a high quality movement and hand-painted the dial. With this clock, we now know that at least two of these were produced. Old antiqued brown, black and gold surface that is only slightly worn. Movement 133078 needs cleaning. Ht 10"
