Eli Terry, Jr., Plymouth, Conn., shelf clock 30 hour wooden weight driven movement in quarter column and splat mahogany case, c1831 refinished mahogany veneered case in good condition. A little veneer loss on the base and a crack at the top of the door. There is evidence this clock probably had feet now missing. Bottom glass is original. Top glass a replacement. Original painted dial is in fairly nice condition. Ivory key escutcheon is missing. Hands appear to be original. Wood movement needs restoration as result of poor repairs. Ht 26"
