Waltham Clock Co., Waltham, Mass. miniature wall timepiece with 8 day spring driven movement in mahogany case, c1930 Mahogany case in very nice condition in original finish with some scratches at the latch knob on the side of the case. The railing on the top of the case appears to be original, but could be a replacement as these cases normally had a carved gilt eagle. There is loss to the gilt corner spandrels on the dial glass. Lower glass is original. Decorative brass balls on the bottom bracket are tarnished. Original painted dial is fine along with the hands and finials. Ht 14.5"
