Waltham Clock Co., Waltham, Mass., full size banjo timepiece 8 day spring driven time only movement with lever escapement in mahogany case, c1930 mahogany case in nice condition in original finish. Original painted has some minor paint loss at the winding arbor. Original tablets of Independence Hall are in need of restoration. The background paint in the throat tablet is lifting and peeling. The bottom tablet has paint loss on the border. The gilt border design is lifting because someone put cellophane tape on it in an attempt to stabilize it and has caused further damage from the tape having dried out. The hands are original.
