English, British United Clock Co, Ltd, Birmingham, a cast brass bicycle and male rider, in period riding clothes, and with a 30 hour rear wind and set movement in place of the front wheel, the whole on a shaped brass base with a cartouche bearing the initial "S", c1910 dial and hands are original and excellent movement is fully wound, ticks and stops; will require service before regular use. The British United Clock Co. was operated by Edward Davies, brotehr of Henry J. Davies (of Ansonia fame). The movement and dial are similar, but not the same as those produced by Ansonia.
