Inc, a well made cross banded, 20th century banjo clock with original Boston State House tablets and 8 day weight driven movement signed with Waltham logo and serial No. 6684, c1926 somehow the eagle got changed to one too small for the case size; replacements are available. Someone has over-coated the case with a light coat of varnish. Otherwise this is a good clock with good veneer, fine dial with strong signature, and of course a quality Waltham movement with maintaining power, Geneva style winding stop, and dead beat escapement. Overall very good condition. Ht 40"
